About us
Geothermal is all we do, and we do every part ourselves
Most HVAC companies sell geothermal as a sideline and rent a drilling rig when they land a job. We are the opposite: designers, drillers, and installers under one roof in Fairfax, fluent in the geology from the Blue Ridge to the Chesapeake.
- 25+
- years installing geothermal systems
- 65+
- geothermal professionals on staff
- 1M+
- miles of loop pipe in the ground
- 100%
- of drilling done by our own crews
The designers
LoopLink certified, IGSHPA trained
Every system starts on a designer's screen. Ours are LoopLink Certified, trained by the makers of the industry's best geothermal design software and by the authors of the IGSHPA design and installation manual, the standard the whole industry follows.
That is why our proposals quote a model and a fixed price instead of a range: the loop math is done before the contract, not after.

The drillers
A million miles of pipe, zero subcontractors
Our well drilling and ground loop team has installed over one million miles of geothermal loop pipe. They are IGSHPA accredited installers and master well drillers, licensed in Virginia and Maryland and fluent in the complex geological formations across our service area.
The loop is the permanent half of your system. We think the people who bury it should have their name on the truck.

The installers
Factory trained, GeoPro proven
Our interior equipment installers have put in hundreds of systems over more than 25 years. All are WaterFurnace factory-trained, geothermal-certified professionals.
Only the best of the WaterFurnace network are invited to become GeoPro Master Dealers. The badge is re-earned continuously, on:
- Overall performance
- Experience and dedication
- Installation quality
- Continued technical training
- Overall business practices
