Net zero starts under the basement, not on the roof
A net zero home collects as much energy as it uses over the year. Solar panels get the photos, but the fastest path there is shrinking the biggest load in the house first: heating and cooling.

Cut the load before you buy the panels
HVAC is typically half of a home's energy bill. A geothermal system uses the solar heat already stored in the earth instead of making heat from fuel, so it cuts that load harder than any other heating and cooling technology.
Every kilowatt the ground loop saves is a kilowatt of solar you do not need to install. Pairing geothermal with efficient construction and appliances is how houses reach net zero without a roof covered edge to edge in panels.

Building or renovating
The right time is while the ground is open
On new construction the loop goes in while excavation equipment is already on site, which is the cheapest it will ever be. We work directly with your builder or architect on load calculations and loop placement.
Renovating instead? A retrofit works too; the loop needs a day or two of yard access and the unit takes the footprint of the furnace it replaces.
